Roads and sites are poor gravel, as is typical of many small town desert RV parks. Looked well maintained and clean. Friendly staff, escorted to your site and help setting up offered. Utilities worked fine, they have good well water. Trees along edge of park, sites open. No tables. Sites long enough to leave tow vehicle attached. Wi-Fi was somewhat slow. Price was for 50 amp full hookup site.

Very nice RV park: with paved roads and sites, gravel between sites, no tables. 65-foot long pull-through sites. The utilities worked fine. Can use the hotel pool and exercise room. Verizon air card worked well, didn't try the Wi-Fi

Paved roads and sites, grass between sites with a picnic table. Sites are level. There are trees between sites. Back-in sites are along the edge and the pull-through sites are not long enough to leave a tow attached. Turns are a bit tight and sites are closer together than desired. Water pressure was high, be sure to use a reducer. Cable TV has many channels but at our site the picture was fuzzy. Very fast Wi-Fi, better than Verizon air card which was slow. Some road noise from the nearby freeway. This rate was for a 50 amp, pull-through site.

This park and the hot springs are for sale, the camp has water and electric only and sewer hookups for minimum one week stays only. There apparently are problems here and we moved down the road to another park which has 50 amp full hookup sites.

This park is about 0.4 miles off the Interstate so it doesn't have that noise, or railroad noise but it does have some local traffic noise. There are good gravel roads and level gravel sites with lots of grass and open space. We had to ask for a table and it was promptly delivered. There are some small trees. The utilities worked fine, however there is no cable TV and poor over-the-air TV. Satellite TV has an open view to the sky. Good Wi-Fi, however Verizon air card worked very slow. This park is in open country with mountain views all around. They allow RV washing. The friendly and helpful owners, escorted us to the site. Price is for a 50 amp weekly stay. We would stay here again.

Easy access from Interstate, has nice appearance as arriving. Inside it has a frayed look. Many long term RV's but they are in their own rows. Paved roads with dirt sites. Short term sites have gravel between but long term sites are all dirt. Blowing dust could be an issue in the wind. There are trees around but the short term sites don't have many. Friendly staff, escorted to your site, which is good as the gravel is edged by round logs and it is good to have someone guide you in as to not hit them. Our pull thru was barely long enough but it appears there are some longer sites. Wi-Fi worked OK, cable TV has 60+ channels. Highway noise not too much of a problem. Great Basque food at historic Martin Hotel downtown. This park is fine for an over nighter.

This park has paved roads and gravel sites with a table. Lots of trees, and grass between sites. The pull thru we had was 65 feet long, which was adequate to leave the toad attached. Side by side hook-ups are less than desirable. The numbers on the sites are hard to find from the road and you may be best to walk the road to be sure of your site. We didn't have a mosquito issue, I think that's more an early season problem. There is a nice walking trail along the adjacent Provo River (which is more like a slough here). The cable TV has 31 channels. Some sites are open enough to get satellite TV. Utilities worked fine. Wi-fi was generally very fast, better than Verizon air card. Pool was closed when we were here. Price is a weekly rate with taxes.

Park has paved roads; some paved, some gravel sites with grass all around and a table at each site. Sites are a bit close but OK. Pull through sites are generally long enough with a toad attached but could be a problem for longer rigs. The utilities worked fine. Lots of shade trees at this well maintained park. Staff was very friendly and helpful; the free local newspaper each day a nice touch. Cable TV has 61 channels. Didn't use the Wi-Fi, Verizon air card worked well. They allow RV washing. Noise from the highway is somewhat bothersome, especially in morning and afternoon rush. We would stay here again.

This park is adjacent to a main highway so there is some road noise and the airport is on the bluff a few miles away; the commercial flights are not a problem but if the military is flying, takeoff noise is present. Easy park to find and access. Check-in is efficient and the staff is friendly. This park has an older section with paved roads and mature trees and a section with gravel roads and few trees, which is where we were. There were many seasonal rigs in the park and there are storage sites along the edge and a maintenance building near the entrance that needs to be fixed up. The utilities worked fine. Didn't use the cable TV as the satellite worked fine: there are adequate over-the-air chanels for local news and weather. Sites are easy to get into and long enough to leave tow vehicles attached. There is grass between sites and a table is provided. Aircard worked well for internet, I didn't try the Wi-Fi. A good park for the price and we would stay again.

This Park has nice eye appeal, and is well maintained. There are good gravel roads and sites as they have been re-graveled. There is grass around sites and a table. Sites are mostly level. There are lots of trees but some sites are open enough for satellite TV. The Wifi worked well. This price was for a water & electric (30 amp) site. They need to do some tree trimming along the roads as the branches are too close for larger rigs. There is some traffic noise from highway but not bad. We would stay here again.

This park is about 5 miles from the entrance to Glacier NP at mile marker 148 on US-2. Combination of paved and gravel interior roads, gravel sites with grass between sites and a small table. Sites are pretty level and long and wide enough for turning, utilities were fine. Check-in was efficient and staff friendly. Have a lounge with tables, chairs, TV and computer available. Some sites have trees but most are open so the satellite works fine. Wi-Fi is good but suffers some afternoon slow downs and some drop-outs. Verizon air card worked OK but slower than in a more urban area. Not much road or train noise. The rate shown is for a week. We would stay here again.

This rate is for a week. Easy to find from the Interstate. You are met at the office by staff in a golf cart and escorted to a site where they check you in, cash or checks only (if by the owner, he will have his large black Lab mix sitting on the right seat, a well behaved dog). Paved roads with gravel sites. Grass between sites and a picnic table plus 2 plastic chairs. Many sites have mature trees but the overnight sites are mostly without trees, very long pull-thrus but side by side hook-up's. The place is well maintained and there is a lot of open areas. There are back in sites next to the river, which is behind a low levee. The Interstate is about 0.1 mile to the south so have some road noise as with many camps along the highway; however there is a railroad track next to the campground with several trains daily, including at night so that will wake people. No cable TV and I didn't use the Wi-Fi but air card worked well.

This RV park has gravel roads with holes that have water when it rained, gravel sites with grass and a picnic table. Our site was not very level so had some issues. There are side by side hookups which put you very close to the next rig. Some sites are on grass but the grass was still firm when it rained so didn't sink in. There were kids joy riding golf carts around the camp a lot and it got old. They have a good cable TV and a very fast wifi. This rate was for 50 amp full hookup.

This is a very good park, paved entrance road, gravel interior roads and sites. Many camp sites but spread around a large meadow and in the trees so it doesn't feel crowded. We were in the Base Camp full hook up area with a good Wi-Fi signal and limited cable TV although the sites are open enough that satellite TV was fine. Verizon air card also worked. Set back far from the highway so there is minimal road noise. Nice pool and play area for kids. We would stay here again.

This park has gravel roads and sites. Grass with picnic table. About half the sites have trees. Cable TV has very limited offerings, can do as well with local over the air, satellite was fine in our pull through, 50 amp full hookup site but site wasn't as level as it should be. Verizon air card worked very well, didn't try the WiFi. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to I-90 so there is road noise and the airport is not far away. Commercial flights not a noise problem but military flights during the week were.

There are gravel roads with some water in holes when wet. Pull through sites were OK to get into, long enough but not overly so. There were train tracks nearby, but we heard no trains going by when we were here. The dump station is on the entrance road so you need to be careful to not block the road when using it . Close enough to downtown if you want to walk.

Close to the Interstate so there is road noise. Set back off the highway behind other businesses so need to look for the campground sign and entrance road; there is adequate turning room to get in. Well maintained grounds. Gravel roads are dusty. Gravel sites were level, with grass and a table. Large Cottonwood trees are welcome in the heat. Cable TV with lots of channels but picture was a bit fuzzy. Verizon air card worked well. Nice pool. For larger rigs they only rent full hook-up pull through sites as the W/E sites are too small. We would stay here again.

This park has paved roads, gravel sites, and grass with a table. No cable TV but most sites are open and a few have trees that may be a problem with satellite TV. There is very limited over the air channels. WiFi has a good signal and air card worked well. All sites are pull thru except one row is shorter back-in's. None are long enough to keep the truck or tow attached. Friendly owners, easy check-in. Close to town and shopping. We were here for a week and it served our purpose well.

This park is a few miles west of town with easy access to the freeway. There was not much highway noise. Gravel roads and sites were grass with picnic table. Lots of trees but there are some sites where satellite TV is OK. Verizon air card worked well for internet. Pull through sites are fully adequate size wise. This rate is for a full hook-up, 50 amp is $2 more. We would stay there again.

This park has gravel roads and sites, many trees with grass. Well maintained, friendly and helpful staff. We were in a back-in site with 30 amp and water only. The dump station is quite tight with a camp site on one side and a dumpster on the other, be careful. Air card worked well, didn't use their wifi. Staff can direct you to a diesel fuel truck stop about 2 miles away with very adequate room to get in and out.

This is a very good RV park which is part of a large casino based complex. Good paved roads and sites, grass, trees and picnic table. Everything clean. The only knocks against it are the side by side hookups and no cable TV although satellite reception was no problem. The price was a summer weekly rate with another free day promo. We would stay here again.

This is a very nice state park, campground has paved roads and campsites in CG #1 are paved. We had a 30 amp site, as most are, with no other hookups. Lots of trees and grass so it's hard to find a site that can get satellite although we were able to get reception in ours. No cable TV but air card (Verizon) worked well. The dump station is set up so it's on the drivers side on the way in which means you need to turn around to use it upon exiting. There is a very good restaurant in the park on the lake. We would stay here again.

This is now Wisconsin Riverside Resort, nothing else has changed. The previous reviewer is correct about confusion on where to park for check-in but if the lot isn't full can just park near the road, don't get too close to the office building as you turn back to the campground. Paved roads with grass sites. Camp area backs up to a large agricultural field. The grass is hard so even when it rained the site was firm. We were in a back-in full hookup 50 amp site. They have planted pine trees that are closer than desired to the sites, they didn't need to be so near as there is lots of room around the sites. When in the site could not open the awning. Trees not a problem with satellite TV. Wifi doesn't reach all camp areas but an air card worked OK. This is a resort that's definitely oriented towards the river activities. We would stay here again.

This is a very nice state park and campground. Roads and sites are paved with 30 amp hookups. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. There are many trees and lots of grass and when we pulled in the camp host came over and asked what we were looking for. When I mentioned we would like a site where we could get satellite reception she took me around in her golf cart and showed me a couple of pull through sites that would work, very helpful. There is a double dump station behind the restrooms with fresh water also. Well set up. The only knock is that some of the trees around the loop have low hanging branches and you need to go slow when passing under them, they should get them trimmed. We would stay there again.

Small park with paved roads and gravel sites. It is in a nice residential area and next to a school so the entrance comes up quickly, they have a helpful entrance sign. There is not a good place to park for registration without parking in front of other sites. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They escort you to your site and assist in backing in which is really needed. Once in the site it is adequate and slides and awnings could be put out. We had a 50 amp site with full hookups, and were able to get satellite reception, not all sites are suitable as there are large trees around. No cable TV but they have a very good and fast WiFi. We would stay here again as it is a good location to visit the city. Shopping is back toward and just past the Interstate with a small mall, groceries and restaurants.

This campground has paved roads with some paved and some gravel sites; we were in a back-in paved site that was basically along the edge of a parking lot with the amusement park rides to the rear of the campsite, with attendant noise. This was a weekly rate. The utility box has one 30 and one 50 amp outlet so which gets which may depend on who got there first. The water faucet was on the other side of the camp space so had to run a hose around, bit of a strange setup. There are large trees between the sites so the shade was welcome. The sites have a picnic table. The cable TV had 66 channels. Wifi signal reached the camp site but I used an air card which worked well. Would stay here again.

This county park has paved roads and concrete RV pads with a picnic table. There is grass and trees which can interfere with satellite reception in some sites. We had a full hook-up back-in site along the river, which was very good. No Wi-Fi but the air card worked fine. We would stay here again.

Easy to find with a traffic light at the Banning St turn. Roads are paved with concrete pads wide enough to walk around rig with the slides out. Sites are well drained, we were there in the rain. They honor many discounts. Friendly owners, limited complimentary breakfast. Wifi is one of the fastest we have used at RV parks. The only knock on this place is it's close to the Interstate so there is road noise. We would stay here again.

We were at the same rally as the previous reviewer and echo the muddy condition comments, it was bad! We were parked in what looked like the vendor lot and at first were disappointed as those sites are really close together and unlevel but when it rained were glad that at least they were graveled and so we didn't get stuck. The MO state parks have nice campgrounds but they seem to ignore their state fairgrounds while charging a higher price. We will not stay there again.

This a monthly rate plus electricity at 9 cents/Kwh. The park is far enough away from I-10 that noise is not a factor. Staff is friendly and helpful. This is a large park with many park models. There are some RV sites among the park models but most are in a separate area, divided into pet and non-pet areas. The pet area has a large fenced yard where dogs can run free. The pull-thru sites are poor, being too close together. The bulk of the sites are back-in, you are escorted to your site and assisted in parking, but they give you a paper saying they are not at fault if something goes wrong. Sites are gravel with concrete patios and a picnic table. Small palm trees line the camp roads. They allow RV washing. The Wi-Fi really only works at the hot spots. There is very basic cable TV with more at extra cost. We found the restaurant fine, but the store doesn't have the selection as previous years. There is trash pick-up on Wednesdays and the rest of the time you can take trash to the central compactor, and recycle bins. The big draw here is given the large number of sites they offer winter visitors many many crafts and activities. They are really outstanding. The park has been purchased by Encore and there is lots of talk about reductions but so far not many changes. We will stay here again.

This is probably the best landscaped RV resort we have been in our 4 years of full time RV'ing. The sites are concrete with lots of shrubs and grass, well maintained. The staff is very helpful. There are complimentary bicycles and passes to the State Park (excellent birding) that's across the road. The butterfly park is down the road although in season the Resort is full of butterfly's. There are free kayaks to use on the river that's not far away. For long term winter Texan stays there is a complimentary computer modem to use through the on site cable TV. The club house is not the fanciest but there are regular activities for the residents. This rate shown is for a monthly rate plus electric at 16 cents per KWH. We would stay here again.

This older park is within easy driving to the sights around town. The roads are paved (with annoying speed bumps), the sites are also paved with grass, trees and picnic table. The pull-thru was 80 feet long and adequate width. The wi-fi was very good, fast. The cemetery next door is large and offers a good place if one wants walking exercise. We would stay here again.

This park is down a two lane road a couple miles from the Interstate, watch for it on the left. It is in front of a gas station/mini mart. The sites are paved and adequate size. It is very good for a night or two but staying long term may have some store traffic issue. It probably represents one of the better values in the Hill Country. We would stay here again.

This 55+ park is on the edge of the Indian reservation off I-19, accessed by a 2 lane road which has good/poor pavement but adequate. The interior roads are paved (with annoying speed bumps) and the sites are back in and graveled with a concrete patio and picnic table. There is no cable TV, but few trees to block satellite TV. They have Tengo wi-fi and a dial-up modem in the nice clubhouse. Air cards work well also. The absolute main drawback is the Air Guard flies F-16's from the end of a nearby runway. Early morning multiple take-offs will definitely get your attention! That is the reason for my low park rating.

This park has paved roads and gravel sites. It was extremly windy during our 3 day stay and there was some blowing leaves and little dust, a plus out on the west mesa. There is no cable TV. The pay wifi worked OK but had slowdown issues. This is a well maintained, good place to stay and is cost effective for a 50 amp full hookup site. We would stay here again.

This was a weekly rate with Escapees discount. This is a good, basic park, clean and friendly with a small but nice clubhouse. It is set well back from the road so it is pretty quiet. The interior roads are good/poor gravel. The sites are large with concrete patios, table(s) and some grass. Also large trees. There is a basic cable TV. The wifi has some slowdown issues in the afternoons. We would stay here again.

This is a nice park, the interior roads are paved, and gravel sites, table, some grass and trees. The cafe serves dinner (very good mesquite ribs) and breakfast. There is no cable TV but trees are not much of an issue with satellite TV antennas. The site we were in was billed as 60 feet long but our 36 ft motorhome with tow vehicle was very close to the roads in front and behind. The free wifi has serious slowdown issues in the afternoon when most campers get in and apparently log on. We would use it again for an overnite stop.

This was a back-in site on a weekly rate and includes a 13.5% Tucson tax, which is high. This park has paved roads and sites with gravel around, and with a cocrete patio plus table, with full hookups and cable TV and a wifi that works well. It has a nice laundry, fitness center, pool and cafe. The staff is friendly and helpful. A nice touch is the citrus trees at many sites and the lemons were ripe and dropping at our site when we were there. It's located behind the RV dealership and Camping World out front is convenient. The gates are locked at night with a card key entry gate. We would stay there again.

This rate was for 5 nights over a weekend with the KOA card discount. It is quite expensive for what you get. It is close to town and has some highway noise from I-40. It has paved roads and sites with gravel and trees. The sites are mostly level although a bit narrow, as is the case with many older parks. There is no cable TV so pick a site where the trees will not intefere with a satellite dish. It has Tengointernet which on my wifi always gives trouble. We would stay here again in spring time because the other parks are out on the west mesa with dirt roads. That is a dust problem when the wind blows, or parks are in towns which are further north.

This park has a paved entrance road with fair gravel interior roads and sites. They have a small fenced in pond with ducks and geese. Check-in was efficient and staff friendly. We had a 30 amp full hookup site along the edge of the park which had a nice view and trees. It was on a slope so the sites were built up with railroad tie retaining walls to be level. With the picnic table it was a good site. There is a good free wifi but no cable TV. Being set well back from the road it is quiet. We would stay here again.

This park is located 14 miles south of town (near mm 30 on Hwy 115) and the turn off is well marked. The park roads and sites are gravel with pine trees around. It is well maintained and staff is friendly. No cable TV. They will give you a satellite site if requested. We could not get a Verizon cell phone signal in the park. We had a site that was a bit of a problem to level the rig and it appeared many of the sites had some leveling issue. The wi-fi speed was uneven, sometimes it slowed to non-existent and much of the time it was OK. We were there on a weekly rate. We would stay there again.
10/2008
rating [ 8/10 ]
This park has very friendly staff with an efficient check-in. They are an Escapee park so offer their discount. The park area is graveled and the sites are large enough with space to maneuver big rigs. There is no wifi or cable TV. We would stay here again.

This is a nice camp on the Big Thompson River. The check-in is efficient and friendly, and we were escorted to and into the site. We had a river-side back in site where we able to receive satellite TV as their cable has 20 channels only. The large cottonwood trees give nice shade. The sites are a bit narrow but adequate. Price we paid is a combination of weekly and daily rates with Good Sam discount. Wi-fi worked well. The main problem with this park is the roads need to be re-graveled, they are basically hard dirt now and the passing vehicles raise dust. We would stay here again.

rating [ 8/10 ]
This is a good camp for an over night or a couple days. The roads and sites are paved and there is lots of grass. We camped on the lower level and had a nice view of the river. Some sites will have the trees block satellite TV. There is no wi-fi or sewer but there is a dump station. The Interstate does produce some road noise. We have stayed here a couple times and would stay again.

This is a very nice park. The previous reviewers had it right. The only complaint would be the wi-fi works only close to the check in building. Full hookups with cable TV. Nice setting, well maintained. We would stay here again.

I agree with the previous reviewers. It is a good camp for a few days, etc. The roads are paved, and gravel more to the interior with enough room to maneuver, the sites adequate with a picnic table. Owners very friendly and helpful, escort you to and into your site. We had an open site for satellite TV with 50 amp full hookups. The wi-fi is very good. If you don't want to hear country singing each evening ask for a site further out. We would stay here again. (800) 621-4317

This park is full of seasonal workers and they have only several sites for over night, in fact they limit the stay to 3 nights, which is what we were there. Most of the time we passed the entrance the no vacancy sign was out. The roads in the upper camp where we were are paved and the sites are full hookup. With the large number of campers and only one small dumpster, it was overflowing. They have cable TV but no wi-fi.

This is a good spot for overnight. Level gravel roads and sites. It is located behind an oil storage facility (no oil smell). Highway noise from the interstate. Large number of seasonal working campers as is typical of Wyoming with the oil boom. Wi-fi worked OK.

This is a good overnight stop. Sites are level and graveled. It rained the night we were there and some sites had water and mud issues. They give an Escapees discount. Wi-fi worked well and the cable TV is good. There is highway noise from the interstate, which is typical of camps in southern Wyoming.

This campground is overpriced for what you get. It suffers from lack of care, I understand it has been for sale a couple years. The roads have holes with mud when it rains. There are sites on the river and they are well worn. Our site was a back-in, full hookup away from the river and was a bit small but adequate, had grass and a table. The cable TV was very fuzzy so we used the satellite. The wi-fi worked OK. (888) 451-2243

This is a City park accessed from I-76 exit 80, turn north. They have free camping (this web site would not let me enter $0 cost) with 20 amp electricity. The sites are located in areas south and east of the main park loop road and are just parallel parking in marked areas on the streets in these areas, power outlets are mounted on the light poles. The main park has a swimming pool, pond with ducks and geese, and hiking trails, etc. It's well maintained. We would stay here again.

The entrance sign is a bit hard to see being green letters against wood, so need to look for it. The campground is way behind the hotel on the street. The entrance road is paved but interior roads are good/poor gravel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Many sites are in the trees but the sewer sites are in the open which was also good for satellite reception, no cable TV. There was 50 amp power and the wi-fi worked well. There is a small lake with a swimming beach. We would stay here again.

This is a nice park in a rustic setting. Large sites. Very helpful owners. Gravel roads, grass sites, some have trees. Need to ask for an open site if using satelite TV. They offer Escapees RV Club discount. There is a local train track next to the park that had one train per day in the evening so was not a problem sleeping, etc. We would stay here again.

This campground is behind a motel, and is better than we expected, as often these camps are neglected, this one is clean and looks nice. There is a fish hatchery next to it, and Osprey and an Eagle were seen catching fish there. A lot of shopping stores are across and down the street. The campground interior roads are OK gravel and the sites have grass, some have trees. If you need satellite TV ask for an open site, we were able to receive only 1 PBS station over the air. Some sites would be hard to level the rig in and some have side by side utilities which isn't desirable. There are no sewer sites but there is a dump station. We had a 50 amp site in the open and it was fine. The wifi worked well. There is an indoor pool. We would stay here again.

This is a city owned park. It is east of town and easy to find being right off US-10. The roads are paved and there is grass and trees in many sites. A more open site is best for satellite TV. There is no Wi-Fi. There are sites large enough for big rig pull thru. There is 50 amp full hookup sites. We were here a week visiting friends and it was a quiet camp, except for occasional trains across the highway. The camp is part of a large city park and very small zoo with Bison. Good place for walking. I would mark it higher except there is lack of Wi-Fi and swimming pool, etc. We would stay here again.

This State Park camp is on the Saint Croix river. It is a little tricky finding as the highway signs crossing the river from the east and in town are not clear for a first time visitor and the park turnoff sign comes up on you quickly. Once in the park the roads are paved and of adequate size except right in the campground loop the trees can be close to the road. Sites are back-in and not all are large enough for big rigs. There is 30 amp electric hookup only, with a dump station. The park has hiking trails and is close to the boat ride on the river. I marked it down for the general lack of camp facilities, not the facilities they have. This lack is typical of public facilities is this part of the country. We would stay here again.

This is a nice public owned park on a large lake with boating and swimming. The interior roads are paved, with gravel and grass sites. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is only electric hookups and a dump station. This is a popular park and no reservations are taken. The road to the park is a 2 lane country road and there are spots where care has to be taken as trees are close to or overhanging a bit on the roadway. It is about 3 miles south of town. I marked it down for the general lack of facilities, not the facilities or cleanliness or care of the facilities they have. We would stay here again.

This park is beautifully situated adjacent to a cherry orchard. There is a small lake with sites around it. Paved roads, large sites, most sites have patios, lots of grass and open space, few trees. Nice log clubhouse. No pool, toilets, showers or cable. Wi-Fi worked very well. Owner and staff friendly and helpful. Trash pickup at site. We stayed a week and would use it again.

This park is one of the nicer KOAs we have been to. It has nice eye appeal with flower beds, etc. The roads and sites are paved and there are trees and grass. The sites are not large as is common with KOA. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nice pool and activity center. The WiFi works well. Convenient location near Petoskey and other day trips. It is a very pretty area with lots of visitors in summer. We would stay here again.

This is a good fairgrounds park. It has friendly and helpful staff, paved roads, grass and tables. The Wi-Fi only worked sometimes. There are no trees so it could be hot in summer. We were in a 50 amp back in site for a week. The big problem is a busy RxR runs next to the fairgrounds so there is noise. If you can take that the place is good for visiting the RV plants and Amish area. Goshen is a nice small town with Wal-Mart, etc. Many rally's are held here so it could be full. We would stay here again.

This park has paved roads, grass around the sites, and tables. There is a security gate at the entrance. We were in a 50 amp full hookup site that was up near the road so it had some noise but not bad. The waterfront has docks and facilities. The wifi has limited range so I had to use it from the laundry room area. The staff was friendly. We would stay here again.

This park has nice eye appeal, with 2 stores and play area. They have 2 camping areas, by the lake and open areas. Our site was in the open on a small hill top a with a good view of the surrounding area. There is some road noise but it didn't bother us. The wifi worked fine. The roads and sites are graveled. It rained hard one day and the sites collected some water but remained firm. Would stay here again.

This is a family campground with a section that caters to horses and has rides. It is very close to the new Park Service visitor center. Entrance road is paved but interior roads are fair/poor gravel. Our site was in a section that recently had the utilities upgraded. It looks like a small number of sites will have leveling issues although ours was level. The site parking areas are graveled, sites are grass but have bare spots that will be muddy in the rain. Our site was open enough to get satellite TV. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi was fast but suffered many annoying dropouts. We would stay here again.

This is a very nice park with paved roads, grass sites, picnic tables and fire rings. There is cable TV with a large selecton of chanels. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We were in a "preferred site", which has the view of the valley, lots of Amish farmland and buggies going by. They are expanding their wifi coverage, and were having some growing pains, but it worked most of the time and was fast. The owner came by a couple times to alert us when it was going to be down and why, which was nice and no other campground has done that for us, a nice touch of their concern for guests. We will stay here again if in the area.

The road to this campground is a narrow country road, use caution. The turns are marked with CG signs. The interior roads are poor gravel/dirt. They have a small creek with 2 ponds, the grass surrounding gives a nice look. About half the campsites have no grass. There are no tables, etc. There is adequate room to navigate a motorhome with tow vehicle. We were in a 50 amp pull through site. The advertised WiFi did not work. There is lots of shopping nearby. This place is nice but has a bit of a tattered look. I think it's overpriced for what you get.

Easy access from I-95. There is a T/A travel center also at this exit if fuel is needed. The campground has many pine trees for shade, but that means there isn't much grass. In the rain there is a lot of sand and some mud to walk in, not well drained. The sites are adequate for pull thru sites. WiFi works OK, but there is a charge, $9 for 3 days.

This is a wonderful county park for camping. The sites are large with trees and paved roads. Depending on the site location satellite TV reception can be had. There is no Wi-Fi or cable TV. Easy access to Historic Charleston. We have stayed here several times when visiting Charleston. Campground can be booked full at spring break and flowers season, and fall during the Christmas light display.

This campground is in an open field with the camp sites well away from the mobile homes. The roads and sites are paved and level. It is next to the Appomattox Courthouse historic military park. We were not bothered by the road noise but it is present. It is a good 1 or 2 day place to stay while visiting the tourist areas.

This park is next to the Harpers Ferry Historic district. Our site was a 50 amp full hookup. It was narrow to get into, and dropped off the road, so the rear dragged. The rear wheels ran on the grass and sunk into the mud leaving deep tracks. The wifi worked only one day out of three, and that day was very slow. We were able to get satellite reception at this site but not all sites will because of the trees. For the price the sites were not in good condition and the wifi should have worked better.

This park is on a hill side and the sites are terraced with rock retaining walls. Roads and sites are graveled. Our site was long and level. It rained but the site was still firm and drained. The road up to the sites is a bit steep but not bad, we were escorted which helps. Wifi is available on the store patio only as the camp sites are far from the check-in. The porch there is large with tables so it was pleasant sitting there and seeing the country.

Close to I-95 with easy access, we didn't have much road noise. Concrete pads that look to be 1 or 2 years old. Back in sites, however you are taken to the site and directed as backing in. WiFi was acceptable.

This park is easy to find from the Interstate. The interior roads are paved and the sites are gravel, adequate length and width. Wifi was acceptable except at times it slowed down, possibly as more users logged on. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only problem was at the first site we were assigned my electrical tester showed a faulty ground in the 50 amp plug. In checking other sites I found two more faulty ones before finding one that was OK. The staff promptly reassigned us to that site and said they would put the other sites on the maintenance list. This is a good park for 1 or 2 nights, but somewhat expensive. We would stay here again, however recommend checking the electrical outlets before connecting.

Pull through sites are concrete surfaced and long enough to accomodate tow vehicle without unhooking. WiFi is reported weak however we had no trouble half way down the row from the clubhouse. Grass all around the sites and an easy walk to the river edge to view the barge traffic. Cable TV has very limited number of channels, however lack of trees allowed easy satellite antenna lock-on. We would stay here again.

At the time we were there the campground was quite empty and the office was closed. A person came around and told us to select a site and pay later. It took two days to find him again. The sites are somewhat close however unless it is full there is plenty of room. The sites have concrete pads and there is lots of grass around. There are no shade trees which can be a problem when it's hot.

Campground has nice eye appeal, is clean and maintained although the cable TV didn't work in the new section where we were. The new section has concrete pads with gravel roads. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Most sites are filled with permanent RV's, construction workers, but the owners save some sites for tourists. If coming from the north watch for a very small sign at the entrance.
